[마이데일리 = 김지우 기자] Min Hee-jin, CEO of Ooak Records, opened up about her future moves.
CEO Min appeared on YTN radio 'Kim Jun-woo's News Head-to-head Match' on the afternoon of the 19th and answered a question about the first idol concept of the newly established Ooak Records.
Regarding the background of the boy band's launch, she said, "There is no reason for me to form a rival of New Jeans." "Looking at the style that I've been doing, it's time for me to launch a boy group. Thankfully, there were a lot of applicants with DM messages," she said.
She is open to other possibilities besides boy group. "We are reviewing various things because we have received suggestions for a new job other than launching a boy group," she said. "What I want is to make an interesting company."
Regarding the possibility of future collaboration with New Jeans, she said, "It's not my decision. I'm open to any request made by New Jeans," adding, "I don't want it now. I think it's their decision."
Meanwhile, Min Hee-jin established OK Records in October last year and completed registration as a corporation. Recently, she has started her career by receiving applications for auditions in private rooms through a famous dance academy.
