[마이데일리 = 김희수 기자] The world's strongest men's team has also been decided.

Sir Cicoma Monini Perugia won the title by beating Osaka Bluteon 3-0 (25-20, 25-21, 29-27) at the 2025 FIVB Men's Club World Championship held in Belem, Brazil, on Saturday. The team has become the strongest men's team in the world in 2025.

On the day, Perugia was trailing Osaka (41-46) in scores on offense. However, the team had 9-4, and 3-1 advantage in blocking and serving, respectively. The most decisive difference was the management of mistakes. The team had a far more efficient game, 17-26.

In fact, the points that ended the 1-2 sets were all Osaka's faults. Perugia, who took the first set with Tomita Shoma's serve mistake in 24-20, maintained a three- to four-point lead after mid-10s in the second set, and Antoine Brizard's serve mistake won the match at 24-21.

The third set was a critical moment. He lost set points first, and almost failed to finish. But Perugia, who managed to hold on with Oleh Plotnytskyi's attack, dragged the third set to deuce, and at 28-27, Simone Giannelli took advantage of Miguel Lopez's shaky reception to seal the victory. It was the most Giannelli ending.

Opposite Wassim Ben Tara scored the most points in the game with 16 points, and Kamille Semeniuk fired 13 points. The Augustin Loser-Sebastian Sole middle blocker duo collaborated on five blocks. Osaka struggled with Captain Yuji Nishida scoring 14 points, but it was regrettable that Lopez was shaken from the left with negative attack efficiency.

This is Perugia's third championship at the club world championship. Perugia took the 1st place in 2022 and 2023. Before Perugia, Itas Trentino (Italy) and Sada Cruzeiro (Brazil, five-time champion) were the only teams that had won the club world championship more than three times. Perugia has been reborn as a world-renowned team in name and reality.

Giannelli is the MVP of the competition. Giannelli won the Club world championship MVP for the second time in his career, after winning all three of Perugia's championships. The best setter was definitely Giannelli's.

In addition, a total of four Perugia players were listed as the best 7(Loser, Sole, Ben Tara). Lopez (Osaka) and Aaron Russell (Warta Zawiercie) were the best outside hitters, while Tomohiro Yamamoto (Osaka) was the best libero.
