Baekhyun's Agency Responds to Defamation and Malicious Comments:"Fines Issued, Ongoing Legal Action"

[마이데일리 = 이승길 기자] Legal action is underway against individuals who spread false information and posted malicious comments about EXO member Baekhyun.

On December 18, his agency INB100 stated, “We have filed official complaints with investigative authorities based on materials we collected through our own monitoring and reports submitted by fans. The cases involve multiple charges including defamation under the Information and Communications Network Act, insult, and violation of the Stalking Punishment Act. Some cases have already resulted in meaningful legal rulings, and the remaining cases are proceeding strictly in accordance with legal procedures.”

As a result, a case filed at the Gwangjin Police Station in Seoul in April 2025 has led to a fine. Cases reported to Gangnam Police Station in May 2025 and the Cyber Investigation Unit of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency in September 2025 are currently under investigation.

The agency added, “While the investigation and legal process may take time, we will continue to update fans promptly on any meaningful developments. Regardless of the status of the complaints, we will maintain ongoing internal monitoring, and reports from fans will continue to be reviewed and used as materials for legal action.”
