[Mydaily = Reporter Park Seoyeon] Actor Jo In-sung’s past, tactful refusal of comedienne Park Na-rae’s invitation to “Narae Bar” has resurfaced and is drawing renewed attention.
Recently, an online community revisited a clip from MBC Every1’s Video Star, which aired in 2017, showing Park Na-rae speaking on the phone with Jo In-sung.
At the time, Park Na-rae asked guest Park Kyung-lim to connect her with her close friend Jo In-sung, and the call was successfully made.

During the call, Park Na-rae invited Jo In-sung to visit “Narae Bar,” saying, “If you have time, please come by Narae Bar sometime.”
Jo In-sung responded with a lighthearted remark, saying, “I hear that while you’re free to go in, you’re not exactly free to leave,” before adding, “If you invite me, I’ll come with my parents,” effectively declining the invitation in a roundabout way.
Netizens who watched the clip commented, “Jo In-sung is wise,” “His response was really tactful,” “Even Jo In-sung knows that going there is a slippery slope,” and “Top celebrities really handle situations differently.”

Meanwhile, Park Na-rae’s former managers filed an application for a provisional seizure of real estate at the Seoul Western District Court on the 3rd. They claimed to have suffered from “power abuse,” alleging workplace harassment, aggravated injury, proxy prescriptions, unpaid production expenses, and being forced to run personal errands while employed.
In particular, the former managers alleged that Park Na-rae pressured them to attend drinking gatherings, run errands for side dishes, and clean up after parties, effectively keeping them on standby around the clock. One manager claimed that after being verbally abused for refusing to drink alcohol, they were injured by a glass that was thrown in anger.
