UK Hip-Hop Superstar Central Cee to Hold First Solo Concert in Korea

[마이데일리 = 이승길 기자] UK rap sensation Central Cee is set to meet his Korean fans with his first solo concert in Seoul.

Central Cee began gaining attention from music fans in 2015 with his collaboration on J Hus’s “Ain’t On Nuttin Remix” and his solo release “StreetHeat Freestyle” the same year. His breakthrough came in 2020 with “Day in the Life,” a track that showcased a shift to the UK drill style. He followed up with chart-topping singles like “Loading” and “Commitment Issues,” and his debut mixtape Wild West (2021) reached No. 2 on the UK Albums Chart. His second mixtape 23 (2022), featuring hits like “Obsessed with You,” debuted at No. 1.

His 2022 single “Doja” reached No. 2 on the UK Singles Chart and set a record as the most-streamed UK rap song on Spotify. The collaboration “Sprinter” with fellow rapper Dave topped the UK Singles Chart for 10 consecutive weeks, breaking records for both the longest No. 1 run and most streams for a rap song in UK history. Central Cee has become a leading figure in UK hip-hop, winning multiple MOBO Awards including Best Newcomer, Song of the Year, Music Video of the Year, and Best Male Act two years in a row.

Thanks to hits like “Doja” and “Sprinter,” Central Cee’s fame has extended globally. His 2023 collaboration “TOO MUCH” with The Kid LAROI and BTS’s Jungkook charted on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2025, his first studio album Can’t Rush Greatness debuted at No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart and entered the Billboard 200 at No. 9, becoming the first UK rap album to break into the Top 10.

Central Cee’s music blends the raw intensity of UK drill with honest storytelling and emotionally resonant melodies, redefining the global perception of British rap. He has delivered high-energy performances on stages worldwide, including Glastonbury, and gained fans in Korea through performances and relatable social media moments during his visits in 2023 and 2025.

His upcoming concert in Korea is part of the world tour following the release of Can’t Rush Greatness. Central Cee’s solo concert will be held on March 14, 2026, at 7 PM at KINTEX Exhibition Hall 2, Hall 9.
